Council meetings … listen live or listen again

Live broadcasts from three Orkney Islands Council meetings are planned this week, with more to follow later in the month.

An audio feed from the Council Chamber will be provided from tomorrow’s Orkney Health and Care Committee.

Online broadcasts will follow from the education, leisure and housing committee on Wednesday and the development and infrastructure committee on Thursday.

All have a 10.30am start time and to listen live to the meetings follow this link.

The next broadcasts will be from the policy and resources committee on Tuesday, November 24, and the monitoring and audit committee on Thursday, November 26.

The general meeting of the full council, on Tuesday, December 8, will also be streamed live over the internet.

The council also provides a listen-again service, with audio recordings stored on SoundCloud and accessed here. New recordings are available within two working days of meetings taking place.
