Council refuse to comment over teacher investigation claim

Orkney Islands Council has refused to comment over claims that a teacher from Stromness Academy has been suspended as an investigation takes place at the school following complaints made by pupils.

All a council spokeswoman would say on the issue was: “It would be inappropriate for us to comment on an internal staffing matter at this point.”
