Council survey – last chance to take part
Orkney Islands Council has issued a reminder that there are just a few days left to take part in a survey that will help shape the way services are provided in future.
Called ‘transforming services to benefit the people of Orkney’, the survey was launched early last month and closes at midnight on Sunday, December 7, and has so far received 484 responses.
Chief Executive Alistair Buchan said: “It’s likely that there will be reductions in our funding from Government in the years ahead. “To help us be prudent in our approach and proactive in seeking innovative ways to do things, we’re looking for feedback and ideas from across Orkney.
“The public response to the survey to date has been excellent. If people haven’t taken part so far I’d encourage them to take this last opportunity to do so.”
