Countdown to Matt Cardle concert
The countdown has begun to the Matt Cardle concert in the Pickaquoy Centre on Friday night.
And a teenage singer/songwriter, Emily Bourn, from Stronsay has been announced as the support act, accompanied by Jack Kirkpatrick on guitar.
All 1,200 tickets to see the X-Factor winner sold out within hours of going on sale.
Promoter Neil Stevenson said: “It’s good that Emily has been confirmed as the support act, she sounds like she is very talented singer and songwriter so I am looking forward to her performance.”
The concert will be a mixture of standing and seating, with around 550 seats available which are unreserved.
Mr Stevenson said the doors will open at 7pm, and each person will be issued with a wristband on entry to the main arena.
“There will be a restricted bar within the hall selling beer, wine and soft drinks.”
