Damaged fishing boat now in Westray

The fishing boat which was at the centre of a rescue mission by Stromness Lifeboat this morning, is now tied up at Pierowall, Westray.

The 33 metre long O Genita with 16 crew onboard, suffered wave damage to the bridge windows  in heavy seas, wiping out steering and electronics.

The vessel was escorted into Pierowall by the lifeboat.
