Stormy weather shuts down transport links

As expected, Orkney’s three ferry providers have announced the cancellation of today’s ferry crossings due to today’s stormy weather.

Pentland Ferries, Serco Northlink Ferries and Orkney Ferries have all cancelled the remainder of today’s scheduled crossings with tomorrow’s currently under review.
