Deerness residents scoop Postcode Lottery prizes

Eight lucky Deerness residents have won prizes on the People’s Postcode Lottery.

One player, who plays with two tickets, scooped £2,000 and seven others received £1,000 each.

The postcode KW17 2QL was drawn yesterday, Wednesday.

Five winning postcodes are announced every single day from Monday to Friday and each winning ticket is worth £1,000. Players play with their postcodes and have the chance of winning prizes while also raising money for charities.

Fifty-five pence from every £2 ticket goes to good causes. So far players have raised £86.8 million for charities across the UK and internationally.
