Defeat in Edinburgh for ORFC
Orkney’s rugby players fell to defeat today in Edinburgh, losing 27-18 to RHC.
A disappointing defeat for the rugby side, the islanders were reduced to 14 men near the end of the first half with the showing of a yellow card, a period which saw RHC take control of the match.
Craig Rendall and Sam Croy scored Orkney’s try’s, while two penalties and a conversion from Graham Poke completed Orkney’s scoring.
Orkney’s next match is at home to Dalziel next Saturday.
