Doonies claim Boys’ Ba’ . . .

In a game lasting just 55 minutes, the first ba’ of the festive season has been claimed by the Doonies.

The Boys’ Ba’ was thrown up by Willie Flett at 10am and hit the water at the Kirkwall Basin at 10.55am.

After a five minute debate, 15-year-old Greg Scott, from Kirkwall, was declared the winner.
