Epilepsy education day at Balfour Hospital

The Scottish Epilepsy Initiative, will be hosting a free education day for health professionals in Orkney who are interested in epilepsy. The conference will take place at the Balfour Hospital, on October 5 and will cover a range of relevant topics.

Sheena Bevan, epilepsy specialist nurse for Grampian, Orkney and Shetland, explained: “With the development of the new NHS Neurology Clinical Standards, up to date training for nursing and medical staff in Primary and Secondary Care is vital for the successful implementation of the Standards.”
