Extra in-service day for Orkney schools

All of Orkney’s schools will be closed on Monday, September 15, to allow for an extra in-service day for school staff.

The in-service day will allow school staff to work on developments to support the implementation of Curriculum for Excellence and the introduction of the new National higher qualifications.

Further in-service days will be held in October and February.
