Filling in the blanks in Hoy photo archive

A project to gather 20th century images of Hoy, and the surrounding area, was launched in the Hoy Kirk on Friday night.

The Hoy archive has gathered over 500 images to date, but have noticed a gap in images from Hoy in the late 20th century, in particular  1960 to 2000.

While last night’s even provided an opportunity for folk to bring along pictures to be scanned, anyone with images and who was not able to attend can email them to hoyheritage@btinternet.co.uk.
