Firefighters tackle tractor fire in Stenness

One appliance from Stromness Fire Station was called out on Thursday afternoon to extinguish a tractor on fire in Stenness, near the Standing Stones Hotel.

The call came in at 1.50pm and firefighters used a hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus to put out the fire.

There were no further details available, however, it is not thought that anyone was injured in the incident.
