The Christmas Day Boy’s Ba’ has been won by 15-year-old Doonie Ben Stout, from Kirkwall.

The ba’ reached the basin around 11.45am this morning, but the fight for the eventual ba’ winner took two hours to decide, with Owen Harcus, Sam Croy and Ben Stout in the running for the trophy.

Meanwhile, the Men’s Ba’ began at 1pm and, at the time of writing, is still on Broad Street, on the Kirk Green.
