Hatston pier road back open

Orkney Islands Council has completed work to improve the access road to the Hatston Pier.

The project involved a temporary diversion of traffic through the Hatston Enterprise Area, but from this morning, Friday, the Hatston Pier access road will be open again.

The council says it would like to thank the public for their patience and co-operation while the project was underway, particularly people and businesses directly affected by the construction work.
