Have your say on housing support strategies

The OIC is consulting on two new strategies for addressing the housing needs of older people and those requiring housing support, such as telecare assistance or sheltered and supported accommodation.

The draft strategies – Older Persons Housing Strategy and Housing Support Strategy – will feed into the Local Housing Strategy for Orkney and help the council and partners plan for current and future housing needs in the county.

Both are available for consultation from today, for 12 weeks, at www.orkney.gov.uk and from the council’s customer services in School Place, Kirkwall.
