Health and care groups come together in King Street Halls

An information day to help promote health and care groups in Orkney takes place today, Saturday, in the King Street Halls in Kirkwall.

The Voluntary Action Orkney event is to highlight the difference the groups can make to people’s lives and is part of the national Make a Difference Day.

The participating organisations will have information on the work and activities they undertake and there will also be a chance to attend short films, active workshops or information sessions about aspects of heath and care in Orkney.

The event runs from 10am to 3pm.
