‘Hoy Half’ set to celebrate 30th birthday

One of the most popular sporting events in the county will celebrate a memorable milestone tomorrow, with the 30th Hoy Half-marathon set to get underway.

180 competitors will toe the start line of the 13.1-mile course on Sunday morning, while an array of fellow runners will take part in the 5K Family Fun Run.

The runners will commence the course in Rackwick, before following the main road to the finishing line at North Walls school.
