In this week’s The Orcadian

This week’s edition of The Orcadian is now available in shops and online.

On the front page, teams of first responders in some isles are said to have “stood down,” as Orkney’s representatives claim they have “reached an impasse” with Scottish Ambulance Service over an equal pay issue.

The leader of Orkney Islands Council, Councillor Heather Woodbridge, wrote to the Scottish Government last week, describing the situation as a “risk to life and limb.”
