Inside this month’s edition of The Peedie Orcadian
This week’s edition of The Orcadian also features our monthly supplement written for and by young people — The Peedie Orcadian.
This week’s top story in the Orcadian is about a local woman who is urging people in the county to speak to someone if they feel anxious or depressed, and who recently held a “Darkness into Light” walk to raise awareness of mental health issues.
This month’s edition also features an interview with Stewart Wood, the president of this year’s County Show, by seven-year-old Scott Slater, as well as a comic drawn by Raema Kerr, from Papdale Primary School, and a book review by Keira Capper Collins from Papdale Primary School.
These run alongside a selection of stories written or re-written for younger readers as well as games and puzzles.
