Marine Technician

We are seeking a Marine Technician with a mechanical background to join our dedicated team based in Orkney.

This is a permanent post and will involve offshore and onshore duties required for the operation and maintenance of tidal turbines, as well as supporting turbine builds in Scotland and occasionally overseas.

Applicants should have experience working within the marine industry and be familiar with mechanical systems and marine machinery. Experience from aquaculture, fishing vessels, workboats, offshore industries or the merchant/Royal Navy is welcome. You must be fit to work at sea (MCA ML5 or ENG1). Boat-handling experience and certification is an advantage, but training can be provided for the successful candidate.
