RURAL INN MANAGER

Full-time, fixed-term 18-month contract
Location: The Taversoe Inn, Rousay
Salary: £30,00 – £40,000 pa, plus benefits

Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre Development Trust is seeking a dedicated, hard-working, and experienced individual or couple to manage and operate The Taversoe, our small rural Inn. You will have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional service to guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the establishment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, financial management, staff supervision, and maintaining a high standard of service.

The primary role is to run a financially successful guesthouse in a very seasonal location. This will involve efforts to extend the season through marketing and offers. There is also scope to open the bar and restaurant to non-resident guests and, as a community-owned facility, there is scope for adding local social value through events.
