MANAGING DIRECTOR

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Managing Director to lead our business.

The business comprises publishing The Orcadian newspaper and the Islander magazine, the Print Orkney commercial printing, publishing of Orkney books, The Orcadian Bookshop and “Orknet” website design and hosting.

Key responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations at the Print Centre
• Maintain strong colleague and client relationships
• Identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Develop and implement strategies for increasing revenue and circulation of our publications
• Liaise with, and report to, the Board of Directors

About you:
• Previous experience in a management role
• Strong communicator and leader
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
• Strong understanding of digital media and IT management
• Proficiency in data analysis, performance reporting and financial analysis

An excellent remuneration package is available, with regular salary reviews linked to performance.
