Kessock Bridge roadworks – traffic advice

People travelling south from Orkney from tomorrow, Saturday, are advised that traffic delays are likely on the A9 around the Kessock Bridge in Inverness.

Work starts on a major refurbishment of the road over the bridge on Monday, February 11, and is expected to take 17 weeks to complete.

The northbound carriageway on the bridge will be closed and a contraflow will be in place on the southbound carriageway.

In advance of this, the installation of a traffic management system will begin at 10am tomorrow.
