KT Tunstall announces Kirkwall gig

Scottish songstress KT Tunstall has announced a tour of the Highlands and Islands this week, confirming that she will return to Orkney, for a gig in Fusion, on Wednesday, August 24.

Armed with a new band, KT has been working on a new album in Los Angeles, where she now lives.

KT emerged with her 2004 classic debut album, Eye To The Telescope, and soon after won a BRIT Award and earned Grammy and Mercury Prize nominations.

Since then, her music has figured prominently in the charts, in film and television. KT made a triumphant live return to the UK at the weekend, headlining the Oban Live Festival in Scotland.

She has performed in Orkney twice, to sell-out audiences.
