Lineup change for Orkney Master Chef

Organisers of this month’s Orkney Master Chef competition have announced a change in the lineup of amateur cooks taking part in the event.

Ray Patterson, one of four local chefs chosen to participate by Orkney Food and Drink, has had to withdraw from the contest due to work commitments.

He will be replaced by Orphir woman, Caroline Critchlow, whose name was drawn as a reserve on the day the original four competitors were selected live on BBC Radio Orkney.

Caroline will now go head-to-head with Erica Clarkson, Kerry Leask and Firdosh Shaikh, at the event being held in the Orkney Theatre on September 30.
