Local housing services lead the way

Local homelessness and housing advice services provided by Orkney Islands Council and Orkney Housing Association Ltd (OHAL) have passed their latest audit by the Scottish Government’s quality assurance body with flying colours.

The National Standards for Advice and Information Providers (NSAIP) has given Orkney Islands Council its seal of approval for the next four years. In their report, the NSAIP says the council’s commitment to a quality service is clear, and made no recommendations for improvement.

OHAL has also been awarded the accreditation until 2016.
