Maeshowe webcams go live again
The annual winter solstice webcasts from Maeshowe have resumed.
Three cameras, set up and operated by local photographer Charles Tait, are broadcasting from the 5,000-year-old structure in Stenness.
An outside camera, looking out towards the Hoy Hills, will broadcast over the internet between 9am and 4pm, while two interior cameras, one focusing on the entrance passage and the other on the rear wall of the tomb, will broadcast from 1.30pm until 4pm.
The webcams can be viewed at www.maeshowe.co.uk.
