Man denies threatening practice staff

A man appeared from custody at Kirkwall Sheriff Court this afternoon on two charges of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards staff at the Heilendi medical practice.

Fifty-five-year-old Alan Davis of 1 Otterswick, Kirkwall, denied the alleged offences said to have been committed on December 13 and 14.

Davis was released on bail, with special conditions, and was ordered to appear in court for trial on March 1, 2012.
