Marine energy park information day

People in Orkney are invited to a public information day in Kirkwall on Thursday, November 29, for an update on progress with the Pentland Firth and Orkney Waters wave and tidal energy projects.

The projects are among the first commercial-scale marine renewable energy schemes in the world and are located in the recently launched Pentland Firth and Orkney Waters Marine Energy Park.

The event at Kirkwall Town Hall, from 3pm to 8pm, will provide an opportunity to hear how the developments are progressing, give views, ask questions and meet a number of organisations involved.
