According to Rousay astronomer, John Vetterlein, current solar activity would indicate some displays of the merry dancers over the coming days.

Short bursts of activity on the evening and night of March 31, said John, made imaging Comet PanSTARRS (in the NNW at the time) something of a challenge.

The comet is now readily visible from Orkney in a dark sky.
