Money available to improve household energy efficiency
Orkney householders are being urged to seek assistance to improve the energy efficiency of their homes.
Housing and welfare minister Margaret Burgess has announced that households can apply for up to £1,200 financial assistance from the Scottish Government to pay for energy improvement measures, such as cavity and loft insulation, double glazing, a new boiler or draft proofing.
