Netballers make it two out of two

Orkney’s junior inter-county netball team beat their Shetland rivals 34-30 this afternoon.

Orkney held the lead the whole game and held off late pressure from the hosts to win the match.

The result was a deserved win for the visitors, and complements Orkney’s athletics victory earlier in the day.

The overall score now stands at 142-116.
