NHS Orkney’s new employee director appointed

Orkney Health Board have appointed a new employee director.

Vicky Anderson was elected by staff to take over the role from Suzanne Lawrence and has now taken up her new role.

John Ross Scott, chairman of NHS Orkney said he was delighted to make the announcement of Mrs Anderson’s appointment.

He said: “Vicky is no stranger to the workings of the board, through her active participation and engagement on the Area Partnership Forum and the board’s Staff Governance Committee, and I’m sure her probing ‘no nonsense’ approach will prove a huge asset to the Board in the challenging but exciting years ahead.”
