ORFC back in action after week off

Orkney RFC are back in action today after a week off last weekend, travelling south to take on Berwick in their sixth BT National League Division 3 game of the season. It has been an impressive campaign so far for the Orkney team, who are sitting fourth on seventeen points with three wins and two defeats so far, and they will be hoping to keep the momentum going from their last fixture, a 34-24 victory over West of Scotland FC.

Standing in their way though are Berwick, who are currently tenth, having won one, lost three and drawn one, accumulating six points so far. Like Orkney, Berwick gained promotion to the National Leagues last season, having won the BT East Regional League Division 1, winning sixteen out of eighteen.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 3pm.
