Orkney experiences listed by Lonely Planet

Skara Brae is listed in the the Lonely Planet guide’s 500 top experiences in the UK.

Two Orkney sites have been included in Lonely Planet’s latest UK Travel List.

The travel guide has today, Tuesday, revealed its rankings for the top 500 unmissable experiences and hidden gems across Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Included at Number 22 in the list is “solve the mysteries of Skara Brae” and at Number 312 “Wreck-dive WWI destroyers at Scapa Flow”.
