Orkney FC to face North Caledonian Cup winners Golspie

Orkney FC continue their quest to hunt down Invergordon at the top of the North Caledonian League, facing Golspie Sutheland this weekend.

The side will travel away on Saturday, hoping to punish any potential slip-up from the league leaders, as they look to cut the current three-point deficit. Golspie however, will still be flying high after their North Caledonian Cup success last weekend, beating Invergordon 2-1.

Invergordon meanwhile, face bottom side Inverness Athletic, hoping to avoid what would be a massive upset.

A late Thorfinn Stout strike sealed a deserved three points for Charlie Alway’s men against Thurso last weekend.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 12.30pm.
