Orkney gardens open to raise money for charity
Five Orkney gardens are open to the public again today as part of a summer fundraiser to raise money for charity.
Forty per cent of the funds raised by the Orkney Garden Trails will go to the Neuro Ward at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with 60 per cent shared between Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres, The Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland, The Gardens Fund of the National Trust for Scotland and Perennial.
Open today, Sunday are 33 Hillside Road, Stromness; The Dalkeith Polytunnel, Grimbister; Stenwood, Finstown and The Community Garden, Finstown.
