Orkney lose out against Wick Academy

Wick Academy were the victors of the annual football clash between themselves and Orkney, held at the Pickaquoy Centre this afternoon.

A left-footed Adam Stanger volley after 36 minutes gave the home side the lead going into the half-time interval. However, Academy scored three times in the second half through man of the match Stevie Cunningham, Gary Manson and Sam Mackay, to secure the victory.

The match saw Rendall brothers James and John Pickles both present in the Academy starting line-up.
