Orkney RFC gain dominant win

Orkney RFC won a one-sided game in the BT National League Division 3 this afternoon as they ran out 50-26 winners against Livingston RFC in Livingston. Aiming for their first away win of the season, the match kicked off at 2pm and the away side couldn’t have wished for a better first half as they led 33-0 at half time. In a highly accomplished display, Orkney added to their lead and despite Livingston adding some consolation points near the end, they were unable to deny Orkney a second victory of the campaign. Orkney tries came from Alan Brown, three from William Thomson, two courtesy of Phillip Ross, and one a piece from Denis Hayes and Kyle Robb.

The win, with the added bonus of a bonus point, leaves Orkney fifth in the table on twelve points.
