Orkney win rugby sevens
Orkney won the rugby sevens at a rain-drenched Pickaquoy this afternoon.
The home side ran away with the final, beating Caithness 31-0 with tries from William Thomson (2), Marcus Guthrie, and Chris Guthrie (2).
Veteran team Auld Bulls out-muscled Kirkwall 20-5 to win the plate final for the fourth consecutive year.
Winner of the Keith Hutchison Memorial Trophy for best Orkney player on the day was Philip Ross.
