Orkney’s “Dips with a Nip” raises thousands for charity

Several “Dips with a Nip” took place around Orkney this week, raising an anticipated £7,000 for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.

Boxing Day dips took place on Stronsay and at Longhope, while the Scapa beach event took place on Tuesday.

It is estimated that around 100 people braved the elements to help raise funds for the charity.
