The semi-finalists of The Orcadian Parish Cup will become clear on Sunday evening, with four quarter-final second-legs set to be played this weekend.

It is sure to be a weekend of drama and excitement with the defending champions facing an uphill task to stay in the tournament, two North Isles sides in action, and two West Mainland sides going head-to-head.

A 3-1 defeat at the hands of St Ola two weeks ago left 2015 winners Stromness requiring at least two goals if they are to progress to the semi-finals for a third successive season. However, a Liam Martin away goal will give the champions hope that they will be able to upset the odds and progress against the second most successful side in the competition’s history.

The match is scheduled to kick-off on Saturday at 3pm at the Market Green.

Three ties are to be played on Sunday, including two North Isles home fixtures. Both kicking off at 1pm, Westray welcome St Andrews and Sanday host Holm. The Aaks are favourites to progress after beating the East Mainland side 3-2 in the first leg, while Sanday are hoping to overcome a one goal deficit after a 3-2 defeat at The Rockworks.

The final match of the weekend will see two West Mainland sides clash, with Rendall welcoming Sandwick. Delicately poised after a 2-2 draw in Dounby, the match is set to go ahead at The Rockery at 3pm.
