Police appeal after livestock theft

A number of sheep have been stolen from a field in Orphir, according to police.

It is thought that around 10 ewes and 15 lambs were taken sometime between the end of July and mid-September 2014.

Each of the lambs is marked with a blue dot on the back of the neck and each of the ewes has a yellow tag in one ear.

Police are urging Anyone with any information regarding this matter to call Kirkwall police station on 101.
