Police appeal after mobile phone theft

Police in Kirkwall are investigating the theft of a mobile phone from a vehicle parked in the centre of the town, on Friday.

According to police, the phone was taken while the vehicle was parked opposite the rear door of the Albert Street Co-op supermarket, in the Albert Hotel car park, sometime between 4.10pm and 4.30pm.

Anyone who has any information or saw anyone acting suspiciously around the car park at the time is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
