‘Remembering Max’

A host of local and visiting performers will come together in celebration of the music of Sir Peter Maxwell Davies tomorrow night, for a special celebratory concert in St Magnus Cathedral.

Remembering Max will feature music which the late composer created over a period of 40 years, for Orkney choirs, schools, instrumental groups and drama productions, as well as gifts to friends.

The concert, which starts at 7.45pm will see the Cathedral used “imaginatively,” with music being performed in various locations in the building.
