Road closure due in Kirkwall town centre

Part of Albert Street, in Kirkwall, is due to be closed to traffic tomorrow morning, Tuesday, while crane operations are carried out at the new Highland Park shop at 58, Albert Street.

The closure — due to see the section of Albert Street south of Laing Street closed — is due to take place from 6.30am until 10am. The contractor carrying out the work, R Clouston Ltd, has said they will be trying to get finished and have the road clear by 9am.
