Roadworks due in Kirkwall

Roadworks are due to be carried out on Albert Street, Bridge Street and Victoria Street, in Kirkwall, over the latter part of this week and next week.

According to Orkney Islands Council, on Thursday and Friday this week, works will take place in Albert Street, Bridge Street and Victoria Street.

Next week, the works will take place in Victoria Street only, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The roads will be closed to vehicular traffic from 9am to 4pm on each day of the works, however the areas will  remain open to pedestrians.
