Scottish Sea Farms shortlisted for Innovation Award
Scottish Sea Farms, which runs salmon farms across Orkney, Shetland, and the west coast, has made it onto the shortlist of this year’s M&S Farming for the Future awards.
The firm, which operates 43 fish farms at any one time, Â has been nominated for the Innovation award for their Lochmuir Salmon. According to Scottish Sea Farms, just one portion of their specially fed salmon can provide a person with their entire weekly intake of Omega 3.
The winner will be awarded on the first day of the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh, next Thursday, June 22.
