Scottish Water are to hold an information event in Stromness Town Hall today, to update the local community on plans to upgrade the waste water network in the area.
The £10 million Scottish Water project is set to reduce the risk of pollution to the surrounding recreational waters in Stromness Harbour.
Following on from the information sessions held in May, Scottish Water are now able to confirm timescales of the upcoming project and would like to meet with the local community to pass on this information as well as answer any further questions.
Scottish Water are inviting residents to drop into the event anytime between 1pm and 6.30pm.
Alternatively, Scottish Water will be holding a second information event tomorrow, in the Community Centre nursery hall, between 5pm and 7pm.
Information regarding the project, along with regular updates, will also be provided after the events at www.scottishwater.com/stromness.
